The characters are dynamic except for Heesoo, I hate him.....but ironically, his pairing with Dojun as the second couple was my favourite Love is Illusion is one of my fave omegaverse too. I especially adore side couples besides the main is also precious to me, but sometimes, I just can't handle the level of hye-sung being tsundere. Ok, so I have not finished the series yet 70+ chapters howeverIf the Omega protagonist Hye-sung is getting on your nerves right now in the first few chapters, don't be discouraged and don't drop the series yet! His personality gets so much better and cuter in the latter half of the story mostly starting in the side stories, which starts very early on. The story is cute, there is drama, but I really enjoy the writing and the characters. I enjoyed the art too! Which was surprising because I felt that the sudden drastic change of art was jarring in her previous work not that the change of art was bad, but she had a cool different art style. If you remember how the original Hye-sung looked like...and his personality....then you know what I mean!!! . She really Uke'd him artstyle wise. I read If You Hate Me so first, and could not stand these two in that series skimmed their relationship, felt awkward, but in this Omegaverse I love them. Hye-sung is more fleshed out, and he redeems himself. The relationship is a bit dubious especially at first.....however it does get better. I love Dojin's personality...how he is loving and loyal towards Hye-sung and very patient...I am glad both of them were not assholes, Hye-Sung was enough oof. I thought at first what was the author thinking re-using the same characters from her previous work the third couple from If you Hate Me So but gave her reason that she thought it would be a waste to let them go something along those lines and actually I agree with her now. Omegas and Alphas have heats and ruts and pheremones and all that shit is crazy and confusing, I understand that some mistakes are made, and because it's fiction, I can sort of kind of let it slide... but then it continued and I became more and more frustrated. It felt like the MC alpha didn't learn something that's so simple a child could understand it!!! If your partner is saying "Wait!" you wait. If they say "Stop!" you stop. A obra se passa em um omegaverso e mesmo que haja a presença de temas um pouco pesados em alguns momentos, a obra é muito gostosinha de ler. Alguns termos do omegaverso Alfas são aquelas pessoas que apresentam uma certa dominância na sociedade, sendo geralmente fisicamente maiores que os betas e os ômegas. Eles conseguem usar feromônios de forma a subjugar outros alfas inferiores e os ômegas. Esse grupo também consegue sentir os feromônios ômega e identificar quem é ômega e quem não é. Ômegas são aquelas pessoas, geralmente homens nos BLs por motivos óbvios, que são mais delicadas, mais suscetíveis aos feromônios dos alfas. Eles são homens que entram no cio, como os animais, e perdem o controle, e também conseguem engravidar. Os ômegas também conseguem ter certo controle dos alfas quando possuem feromônios fortes. Betas são pessoas normais, que não produzem nem sentem os feromônios. São os excluídos da sociedade por não produzirem os feromônios. Ele nos apresenta o típico casal improvável, onde um não gosta do outro mas que não podem negar a evidente atração que sentem. No meu ponto de vista, a cereja do bolo é que a história se constrói em um omegaverse, isto é, numa realidade em que a sociedade se dividide em três categorias que a regulam Alfa, Beta e Ômega. Por ter crescido acreditando ser um alfa, Hyesung tem todo o orgulho de um e, mesmo tendo as fortes características de um ômega, se recusa a acreditar que seu primeiro teste pode ter sido um erro. Até que ele conhece Dojin, um alfa que despreza os ômegas e jura que jamais se relacionaria com um. Assim, no primeiro momento em que eles se encontram, os feromônios de Hyesung despertam, revelando que ele é ômega e fazendo ele entrar no “cio”. Claro, para criar todo o enredo da história quem ajuda ele nesse momento crítico é o Park Dojin, levando-o para casa. O que acontece depois disso é bem fácil de prever, considerando todo o contexto da obra, mas isso não é de forma alguma um ponto negativo. Vemos também muitos desentendimentos bobos que seriam facilmente corrigidos com um pouco de diálogo, coisa que acontece com bastante frequência na realidade e que nem sempre enxergamos com tanta clareza. Além disso, temos um alfa extremamente doce, que se preocupa com a felicidade da pequena família que criou. Uma história que consegue balancear muito bem o drama com o romance, e com a dose necessária de cenas quentes. Além do casal principal tem os casais secundários que são tão impróvaveis, se não mais, quanto o principal. Os dois são compostos por homens betas, um fazendo par com um homem alfa e o outro com um homem ômega. Esses casais são melhor abordados nas Side Story de Love is an illusion, e não vou detalhar quem são por ser um grande spoiler. A abordagem é incrível, tanto no conhecimento sobre essa forma diferente do que a sociedade dita ser casal, quanto no conhecimento um do outro, seja nos sentimentos ou em seus limites, um apoiando o outro a evoluir. ©Lezhin/Fargo Conclusão Love is an illusion é um manhwa sensacional e ótimo para se introduzir no conceito de omegaverso. Temos um casal que não se gosta, aquela famosa demora nos romances para que o casal finalmente admitir que se ama e ficarem juntos, e aquela coisa que une os dois, algo que não tem como evitar. Todos aqueles clichês que nos atrai em romances e, principalmente, em BLs, que com certeza aquecem o coração do leitor. Amo demais essa obra que foi uma das primeiras que acompanhei de verdade, e ainda sinto falta de novos capítulos.
